Children had to be transported by ambulance after a road accident involving a school bus occurred Wednesday morning in eastern ontario.
No one has been seriously injured in this collision, which occurred on route 34, between Hawkesbury and Vankleek Hill. However, five children who were on board the bus were transported to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries, according to the Ontario provincial Police.
In addition to these five children, 19 other children were transported as a precautionary measure.
The driver of the school bus, he also slightly injured, was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Ottawa. The occupants of three other vehicles involved were not injured.
The Ontario provincial Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
