A 64-year-old woman was pronounced lifeless on the scene of a Forest Hills, Queens apartment constructing fire Friday.
The one-alarm fire occurred in a six-story residential constructing on 71st Avenue, in accordance with the New York Police Division. Officers arriving shortly after 8 a.m. discovered a woman unconscious and unresponsive inside, police mentioned.
The fire has been extinguished. No trigger has but been introduced, and the woman’s identification had not but been launched as of mid-day Friday.
The lethal fire comes simply over a day after one other, in the Bronx, that prompted two deaths on Thanksgiving morning. A 20-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man died in the Thanksgiving fire.
