Russian figure skater Elizabeth Tuktamysheva for the first time in 2015 reached the final of the Grand Prix. At the tournament in the Japanese Hiroshima she took third place, reports TASS.
Tuktamysheva went first after a short rental, but erred in arbitrary and in the end lost the lead. However, she has updated personal records in a short (76,17), random (142,85) programs and on the total amount of points (219,02) overall she was satisfied with his performance and already booked tickets to Canada, which will host the final Grand Prix. “One ticket to Vancouver please,” wrote Tuktamysheva Twitter.
“I am pleased with how I skated the long program, I performed better than on the stage of the Grand Prix in Canada, this is a record for me points. Happy with my progress and hope it only gets better,” – commented on his vespolina skater.
First place went to 16-year-old Japanese girl Rika Kihira (224,31 points). The bronze went to her compatriot, 20-year-old Satoko Miyahara – she showed the result 219,47 points.
The Grand Prix final will be held in Vancouver from 5 to 9 December.
Note that the final competition can get two more Russian figure skater Alina Sagitova and two-time world and European champion 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva. First you need to take a place in the top three on the Grand Prix stage in Moscow (16-18 November), the second necessary to win the gold in France (23-25 November).
