Bianca Andreescu, 181st, is found on the main board of the Rogers Cup for a second year in a row.
The Ontario Bianca Andreescu and Carol Zhao have got the last two passes are available for the women main draw of the Rogers Cup, presented in Montreal, has announced Tennis Canada on Wednesday.
On the male side, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Peter Polansky and Vasek Pospisil (Vancouver) received an invitation to the portion of the tournament played at Toronto.
These pass holders will increase to eight the number of Canadians who will take part in the main tables. Auger-Aliassime, Polansky and Pospisil will join Milos Raonic and Denis Shapovalov, while Andreescu and Zhao will accompany Eugenie Bouchard, whose pass had already been confirmed earlier this month.
Second player in the country under its 138th rank, Zhao will be the main draw of the Rogers Cup for the third time in his career and will attempt to cross the first round for the first time. Andreescu, 181st, is found on the main board of the Rogers Cup for a second year in a row.
Auger-Aliassime, 134th in the world, will play the main draw of the tournament for the first time after being forced to miss the competition last year due to injury.
For Pospisil, 92nd, it would be a one-eighth participation in the Masters 1000 canada, while Polansky qualified for the three first major of the season and that points at the 122nd level, will be an 11th entry.
The organization also took the opportunity to announce the pass for the qualification. They have been handed over to Françoise Abanda (191st), Rebecca Marino (310th), and Katherine Sebov (286th), while an additional seat is reserved for the winner of a tournament qualifying taking place this week at the stage IGA.
The last two passes for the qualifications had been exchanged for a place in the main draw of the tournament in Hobart, at the beginning of the season 2018, and another for the qualifications of the tournament in Miami from 2019.
In Toronto, Stanislas Wawrinka, triple champion of the Grand Slam currently ranked 201st in the world ranking as a result of two operations on his left knee in 2017, will get its invitation for qualifications, just like Filip Peliwo (203rd) and Brayden Schnur (249th).

In doubles, two teams all-canadian, received a pass to the main table. Daniel Nestor will play for the last time the tournament alongside Pospisil as Auger-Aliassime and Shapovalov will be the pair.
