Bronx man cuffed for robbing Kips Bay Target and threatening guard with box cutter

Cops arrested a man who they are saying robbed a Target retailer in Kips Bay final month.

Based on police, at 11:39 a.m. on Oct. 17 the suspect entered the shop, situated at 512 2nd Avenue, and began to take objects off the cabinets. When he tried to depart, a safety guard approached him. The suspect then pulled out a box cutter and fled with the shop objects.

Following an ongoing investigation, 42-year-old Bronx resident Dwayne Spaulding was arrested in connection to the crime. He was charged with theft.
