Chase Bank Robbers Swipe $300,000 From Armored Truck – NBC New York

Three males are on the run after police say they stole $300,000 from an armored truck outdoors a Chase Bank in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.

The brazen daytime theft occurred round 1 p.m. in Sundown Park on the nook of eighth Avenue and fifty fifth Road.

Investigators say two of the suspects approached a Brink worker about to make a cash drop by asking for instructions. A 3rd suspect used the distraction to swipe the bag of money sitting on the bumper of the armored truck.

Police the primary surveillance photographs of the needed males on Sunday, in addition to descriptions of the now rich trio.

The person who snatched the bag was carrying a black winter hat, black hooded jacket, grey pants and black sneakers.
