A neighbor grieves after a person and lady had been killed in a Brooklyn shooting on Feb. 3, 2023 being investigated as a murder-suicide involving a retired cop.

Two individuals in Brooklyn, together with a retired police officer, had been discovered shot to loss of life inside a house in an obvious murder-suicide on Friday afternoon, police reported.
Officers from the 67th Precinct made the horrific discovery at about 1:52 p.m. on Feb. 3 at a house on the 4700 block of Beverly Highway in East Flatbush.
Police stated {that a} 49-year-old lady — a retired police officer, identified in published reports as Petlyn Job — and a 52-year-old man believed to be her boyfriend, recognized as Alex Delone, had been each discovered fatally shot on a mattress inside the situation.
Delone sustained a gunshot wound to his head, whereas Job sustained a bullet wound below her jaw. Each people had been pronounced lifeless on the scene; the investigation into their deaths stay ongoing.
A firearm was recovered on the crime scene, police sources stated. It’s not clear, at this level, who shot whom, authorities famous.
On the block, distraught neighbors expressed shock over the incident. One man was heard crying out, “I can’t believe she’s gone.”
No perpetrators have been recognized within the preliminary investigation, police sources stated.
