People’s artist of the Chuvash Republic, Opera singer Maxim Mikhaylov died at 57 year of life, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Bolshoi theatre.
“Today was an outstanding singer Maksim Mikhailov,” – said in the theater. The date and place of farewell and funeral will be known later.
Maxim Mikhailov was born on 13 may 1962. Since 1987 he worked in the Bolshoi theatre, where he sang bass roles in the operas “Prince Igor” by Borodin, “Boris Godunov” by Mussorgsky, “Sadko” and “Tsar’s bride” by Rimsky-Korsakov, “Eugene Onegin” by Tchaikovsky and others.
In addition, he performed in the Opera houses of new York, London, Paris, Milan and other.
Mikhailov also staged productions of Opera performances as a Director.
