Cops want the general public’s assist in monitoring down two males who robbed a 90-year-old man whereas invading his Hamilton Heights condominium at gunpoint on Saturday.
Police stated the home invasion occurred at about 8:10 a.m. on Nov. 6 within the neighborhood of West 145th Avenue and Edgecombe Avenue.
In keeping with regulation enforcement sources, the 90-year-old man heard the suspects knock on the entrance door to his condominium and answered it.
Upon opening the door, cops stated, one of many robbers pointed a firearm at the man and demanded his cash and cellphone.
Police stated the opposite perpetrator stayed at the entrance of the condominium, appearing as a lookout, whereas the sufferer supplied the armed suspect together with his cellphone and $270 in money.
The crooks then fled the scene in an unknown course.
The incident was reported to the 30th Precinct; the man was not injured.
Cops described the armed suspect as a man with a medium complexion who wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and white sneakers.
His confederate, police reported, was additionally described as a man with a medium complexion who wore a pink hooded jacket, grey pants and black sneakers.
