Hamilton Heights shooting leaves man with bullet in chest

An early-morning Hamilton Heights shooting on Saturday left a man critically injured with a gunshot wound to his chest, police reported.

Regulation enforcement sources mentioned the shooting occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 6 close to the nook of West 148th Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue.

Officers from the 30th Precinct, in responding to a report of the incident, discovered the wounded, unidentified male sufferer.

Moments earlier, detectives mentioned, the sufferer was in entrance of a storefront on Amsterdam Avenue when he heard a shot ring out, then felt ache and realized he had been hit.

EMS rushed the sufferer to Harlem Hospital, the place he’s being handled for accidents not thought of life-threatening, police sources mentioned.

To this point, no arrests have been made in the continuing investigation. Police sources didn’t but present an outline of the shooter.
