Hochul Backs Cuomo’s Penn Station Pet Project And Midtown Mega Project, With Twist

Lynn Ellsworth, of Humanscale NYC, which includes community and civic groups concerned about overdevelopment, said in an email to Gothamist/WNYC that the project does not appear to be “chang[e] the Cuomo imaginative and prescient sufficient to make the venture totally different.  From what I learn within the Occasions, this isn’t a major change within the venture.”

However, she added, “It’s nice that she doesn’t need to demolish some a part of the neighborhood.”
