The Verkhovna Rada registered the bill according to which the proposed is necessary to establish psychiatric and narcological examination of the candidate on a post of the President of Ukraine.
The corresponding bill №9379 was introduced to Parliament on 7 December.
The document proposes to amend the law On elections of the President of Ukraine, in particular about the conduct of mandatory pre-psychiatric and narcological examination of the candidate on a post of the President.
The initiators of the bill were the leader of the Radical party, Oleg Lyashko, and the deputies of his faction Igor Mosiychuk, Alex Lenski, Valeria Sarajko, Serhiy Rybalka, Alexander Hulak and Victor Galasyuk.
Prior to that, the Council supported the termination of the Agreement on partnership with Russia.
