Police introduced over the weekend the arrest of a person they are saying is chargeable for robbing an 80-year-old man in Alphabet Metropolis on Oct. 28.
The aged man was returning dwelling when he was corned in the elevator of his constructing by a suspect who brandished a field cutter, in accordance with police.
On Saturday, the NYPD introduced the arrest of a 50-year-old man who lives in the neighborhood of the crime he is accused of committing. The division says he faces costs of theft, legal possession of a weapon and legal possession of stolen property.
The theft occurred in the afternoon shortly after 2 p.m. in Alphabet Metropolis. Police say it began when the suspect requested the sufferer for a cigarette.
The suspect then adopted the aged man into his constructing foyer and elevator the place he cornered the sufferer whereas he was sitting down in his walker.
Police say that is when the suspect pulled out the field cutter and demanded cash. Surveillance video in the elevator captured the complete theft, together with the second when the suspect grabs the sufferer’s pockets and takes out $60.
