Police examine the scene of a capturing in Canarsie that left a 40-year-old man dead Tuesday afternoon.
A 40-year-old man was shot dead near the nook of East 83rd Avenue and Flatlands Avenue Tuesday afternoon, cops stated.
Authorities responded to a 911 name on the Canarsie intersection simply after 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 17, in line with a Police Division spokesperson. Upon arrival, officers noticed the sufferer, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the torso.
The sufferer was taken to Brookdale College Hospital Medical Heart, the place he was pronounced dead.
As of publication, police had no additional particulars as to the circumstances surrounding the capturing, or any potential motives or suspects. There have been no arrests and the investigation stays ongoing.
Police are treating the incident as a murder.
