MTA announces service disruptions that begin Presidents’ Day Weekend

Subway service on the A, C, D, E, F and M traces shall be disrupted for greater than per week subsequent month, with the MTA performing observe and substitute work.

The work, in keeping with the MTA, is scheduled to begin over Presidents’ Day weekend and final for 10 days. The MTA plans to interchange tracks and switches north of the 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal.

The service modifications will happen from Friday, Feb. 17 at 9:45 p.m. by way of Monday, Feb. 27 at 5 a.m.

The MTA says that the work is essential and is being performed over the vacation week to make sure minimal impression to prospects. Given the vacation, service shall be affected on 4 weekdays. 

Listed here are the next service impacts:

Tuesday, Feb. 21 — Friday, Feb. 24 

Weekends and Presidents’ Day Vacation:

Presidents’ Day Weekend solely (Friday, Feb. 17 at 9:45 p.m. to Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 5 a.m. )

Weekend of Feb. 25 – Feb. 27 solely (Sat, Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. to Sunday, Feb. 26 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ]

The Uptown A, C, and E trains will function usually.
