This weekend Muscovites will be able to see the sky “Kiss the moon and Saturn” and Starfall North Tauride, the press service of the Moscow planetarium.
“This coming Sunday 11 November 2018 at the sunset sky, the young Crescent moon will be just 1 degree from Saturn”, – stated in the message.
To observe the “kiss” citizens will be able to the naked eye over the South-Western horizon between 17:00 GMT to 19:00 GMT.
Close to midnight on 11 November, visitors will enjoy Starfall North Taurida. Astronomers predict a flood from 7 to 15 meteors per hour. Experts recommend to observe a celestial phenomenon for the city.
Earlier it was reported that Muscovites in mid-November will be able to watch and for others a free fall stream of the Leonids. It is expected in the night from 17 to 18 November.
We will remind, in October, residents of the capital could see a meteor shower Draconids. This meteor shower only happens once a year.
