The NYPD on Monday, Feb. 6, recognized the hammer-wielding maniac who went on a rampage in Woodside last week. Police from the 108th Precinct in Lengthy Island Metropolis are searching for Blake Sizer, 31, of Coleman Drive in Clayton, New Jersey, in connection to 2 incidents that occurred on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Investigators say that Sizer approached a 65-year-old man standing on the southbound platform of the Northern Boulevard M/R subway station at round 3:30 a.m. and grabbed his eyeglasses, inflicting scratches to the sufferer’s face. Sizer additionally allegedly pulled out a hammer from his jacket pocket and swung it on the sufferer, hanging him on the left shoulder earlier than operating off in an unknown path, police mentioned. The sufferer suffered minor accidents and refused medical consideration on the crime scene.

Almost two hours later, police reported that Sizer entered the Peace & Vegetation store at 53-17 Broadway and went berserk, threatening retailer staff and throwing merchandise. Sizer then grabbed a tip jar and fled in an unknown path. There have been no reported accidents on the retailer.

The NYPD launched new surveillance photos of Sizer and the safety digital camera footage displaying him clutching the hammer in his proper hand on the platform. He’s described as having a darkish complexion, standing about 5 ft, 10 inches tall, and weighing about 200 kilos. He was last seen sporting a vivid yellow jacket, a crimson scarf with gold symbols, blue denims and dark-colored boots.
