In a video launched together with his announcement, Williams spoke about his time rising up in Brooklyn with Tourette Syndrome and ADHD, his time as an organizer, and the way he has integrated that work right into a decade of service as an elected official. 

Williams, 45, and a graduate of Brooklyn Tech Excessive College and Brooklyn Faculty, began his elected political profession as a Metropolis Councilman from 2010-2019.
