The commuter train service linking St-Jérôme to the train station Lucien-L’allier, at the centre of the city of Montreal, will resume gradually in the late morning.

He was stopped in both directions for several hours Thursday morning.

The metropolitan transit system (RTM) reports that there will be a departure from the station of Saint-Jérôme at 10: 55.

A multitude of departures were cancelled due to the derailment of a maintenance equipment of the Canadian Pacific (CP) so that it performs its work.

The RTM specifies that the equipment maintenance of the CP was in simple track during the derailment and that the maneuvers for the move have had to take a few hours, removing all the access to the trains of the line Saint-Jerome.

The line Saint-Jérôme account stops in Blainville, Sainte-Thérèse, Boisbriand, Laval and Montreal.
