Partners expressed full support for Ukraine and called for the immediate release of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
In the framework of the 25th meeting of the foreign Ministers of the OSCE countries held a themed event at the Ministerial level, “the Problem of the militarization of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol (Ukraine) and parts of the Black and Azov seas”.
As the press center of the foreign Ministry, the event was held with the assistance of the delegations and with the participation of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the United States, Canada, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, Sweden, UK, Latvia, Romania, Georgia and Estonia.
“A wide audience of participants and the media, evidence was provided to the Russian militarization of the occupied Crimea and direct military aggression of Russia against Ukraine in the Kerch Strait, which poses a serious threat to the entire black sea region”, – stated in the message.
In their speeches, the partners expressed their full support for Ukraine, called for the immediate release of Ukrainian prisoners of war, as well as discussed possible steps to deter the aggressor.
