A Brooklyn man was stabbed to loss of life — allegedly with a damaged bottle — throughout a soccer match in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood over the weekend, authorities say.
Richardo Sanchez, 29, was discovered stabbed within the chest, arm and neck when cops responded to a 911 name at Fort Washington Park, close to one hundred and sixty fifth Road and Riverside Drive, shortly earlier than 3 p.m. Sunday, the NYPD stated.
He was pronounced useless at a hospital a short while later.
In keeping with police, Sanchez was a part of a gaggle of males enjoying soccer within the park on the time. A combat broke out and one of many males grabbed a damaged bottle and repeatedly stabbed him, the preliminary investigation discovered.
It wasn’t clear what sparked the combat. A 24-year-old Manhattan man has been charged with homicide within the case.
