Woodbridge Couple Ambushed by Carjackers in New Jersey Driveway – NBC New York

A husband was shot as he tried to combat off two carjackers who ambushed him and his spouse after they returned to their New Jersey residence one night time final week, cops say.

The couple was returning to their Kline Boulevard residence round 8:45 p.m. Thursday when a Toyota Rav-4 with two males inside adopted them into their driveway.

One of many males bought out of the Rav-4, confirmed a gun and demanded the keys to the victims’ automobile, police say. The husband resisted and a battle ensued. The suspect fired one shot on the husband, wounding him in the arm. Each suspects drove off.

The husband was taken to a hospital for therapy. His spouse did not seem to have suffered any bodily accidents.
